Leverage the Boston Marathon, that occurs in April and had 30,000 runners in 2023, and use these runners for a live, interactive demo.
THE ASK
Balega is looking to separate themselves from the competition.
THE IDEA
Show that Balega socks are better at keeping feet dry with a real-time seeing is believing event. Leverage the Boston Marathon and invite runners to take the “Leave No Trace” challenge, whereby, post-run, they’re invited to walk barefoot across a custom surface and see if a sweaty footprint is left behind.
When runners register for the marathon, they’re given 2 pairs of socks, one to wear and one to share. They record themselves taking the “Leave No Trace” challenge, upload the video to their socials, and invite a friend to take the challenge.
